* Advice for Miss Sims. Don't let your co-star hog the limelight. Be forceful if you want to make it in the biz. Being shy and coy will not cut it in Hollywood, sweetheart.

Joe Manganiello Talks True Blood's Wacky Sex Scenes
The only thing tighter than their lips are their abs, but the cast of True Blood let a few spoilers slip Saturday during a panel at Comic-Con – and it looks like Bon Temps is in store for a particularly steamy summer.
"I sexually eviscerate another cast member in one of the episodes coming up," werewolf hunk Joe Manganiello revealed, after showing off his body-rolling skills to the packed room of thousands of fans. But the lucky lady in question may not be Anna Paquin's Sookie Stackhouse, who got hot and heavy with Manganiello's Alcide Herveaux earlier this season.
(It's the torrid sex scene with Kelly Overton's Rikki if I'm guessing right.)
Series creator Alan Ball teased that three new romantic relationships – not just casual couplings – will develop throughout the course of the season.
Alcide and Rikki big fight-out before the inevitable violent mating scene |
Ball wouldn't address the specifics, but he did promise fans were in store for some steamy scenes.
"There are some very hot sex scenes and there are some wacky, 'What the f–––?' crazy [scenes]," Ball told fans. "Between those two, I think all tastes will be satisfied."

Will miss my Playboy friends: Sherlyn Chopra
New Delhi: Model and actress Sherlyn Chopra who has become the first Indian to feature on the Playboy cover, is back in India. The starlet lately surprised everyone by posting pictures from her nude photoshoot on Twitter. She also changed her tagline to ‘Playboy cover girl’.
During her stay at the mansion, Sherlyn spent quality time with Hugh Hefner, Playboy founder and his Playmates. The issue is expected to be out in December 2012 or early next year.
Sherlyn posted on twitter, "With Ava Fabian-a five time Playboy cover girl and my new BFF! With a sweetheart at the Mansion. M gonna miss all my playboy friends......never mind though, will be back soon! The one place I'm gonna miss the most at the Mansion is the dining area...Huge thanks to the entire staff!" It seems Poonam Pandey and Sunny Leone have some serious competition now.
Sherlyn Chopra has worked in a few Bollywood films like ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, ‘Red Swastik’, ‘Jawani Diwani’ and others. Do you think her bold photoshoot will help her in grabbing any more films or item numbers in Bollywood? Sherlyn also participated in the third season of celebrity reality show ‘Bigg Boss 5’.

Leo Roth: Abby Wambach has the right to pose, but was she right?
Abby Wambach was a standout player during her high school career at Our Lady of Mercy.
Here’s a headline I thought I’d never see: “Abby Wambach poses nude.”
Seems like reading, “Pinocchio tells truth” or “Bills win Super Bowl.”
Abby in the buff? One of Rochester’s greatest athletes stripping down for a national sports magazine? The All-American girl, Olympic and professional soccer icon, role model to legions of impressionable kids?
Knock me over with a Nerf soccer ball.
Wambach has spent her lifetime shocking us with superhuman feats on some of soccer’s biggest stages. Now she has just shocked us. Brandi Chastain’s a cloistered nun by comparison.
Let’s make this clear: Wambach’s photos in ESPN
The Magazine’s “Body Issue” of 27 great sports figures showing off their great figures are in terrific taste, with the photographer clicking at just the right time an arm or hand was covering up what Grandma called “your naughty parts.”
They rise to the level of art, reminding me of my college 101 drawing class. After the model dropped her robe, we put our eyeballs back in our heads and got down to the business of concentrating on shadows and lines. Seriously, we did.
As for motives, Wambach’s are more than skin deep. Athletes, particularly Olympians looking for much-needed “exposure” for themselves and their sports, have been appearing in all their glory for years on the pages of ESPN and in publications a lot more risqué.
German figure skating gold medalist Katarina Witt posed nude for Playboy way back in 1998. Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard did the same in 2007, professing a desire to show that powerful female athletes also have a feminine side.
A bare naked U.S. soccer goalie Hope Solo was shown watering her lawn in last year’s ESPN Body Issue. The only message I got there, though, was that her lawn needed watering.
So, while celebrating the athletic form is indeed art and has been for centuries, naked is still naked and provocative is still provocative. Now we’re left to ask, “What was Abby thinking?”
“If you’re an athlete and you’ve worked your whole life on your body, your body becomes your machine,” Wambach, 32, said. “It’s not about being a sex symbol. It’s about being proud of your body in whatever shape or form it is. We want to show people no matter who you are, no matter what shape you are, that’s still beautiful.”
Judging by the photos of the 5-11, 175-pound Wambach kick jumping on a simulated sandy beach and holding a gold soccer ball, she has a lot more reason to be proud of her birthday suit than most of us 9-to-5ers that call a bag of Fritos and a Coke “lunch.”
Still, I don’t need to lift the hood on a Corvette to know it’s a fine machine.
So here’s the deal: Now that we’ve seen under the hood, will you ever be able to look at Abby Wambach the same away?
Did you lose respect for her or gain some? Did she cheapen herself as a role model for kids in order to appeal to an older demographic as she enters the last phases of her playing career and marketing potential, perfectly timed for the London Games? Is this just another case of sexualizing the modern athlete? Or is it a case of an empowered, intelligent woman making her own choices — something many women still don’t get to do?
Chat Room Nation has expressed overwhelming support for Abby’s abs. Many female readers feel “au naturel” is better than “aw shucks.” They say Wambach has sent a positive message to young girls to follow their dreams, make their own decisions, and be proud. They say it shows she’s strong and beautiful, inside and out.
But wasn’t Wambach, AP Female Athlete of the Year, already sending those messages with her clothes on?
I guess what we need to accept is that Abby Wambach is no longer that fiery girls soccer phenom at Our Lady of Mercy High School. She’s all grown up and has been for a long time. A superstar who just went to another level. Like all athletes in this elite realm, she calculated the risk-reward of her decision and came to a conclusion she was comfortable with both professionally and personally.
Why should the only pictures you remember of Abby Wambach be of sweat pouring down her contorted face as she creams some overmatched competitor? Or wrapped in the American flag? Is the lady not allowed artistic expression?I’m not sure the framers of Title IX, that landmark gender equality legislation celebrating 40 years, had things like this in mind. But ESPN
The Magazine’s Body Issue is an equal opportunity canvas, giving male — and female — elite athletes the chance to flaunt it.
Everybody from 7-foot tall basketball players to sumo wrestlers. The only publication that can give Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition a run for its money — and controversy.
It will be interesting to hear Wambach the first time a young fan asks about the pictures. I have no doubt she’ll have an intelligent response. Her video and Q-and-A on ESPN’s website, where she talks about self-image, nutrition and fitness — important topics for teens — depict a confident, multi-layered individual completely comfortable in her own skin.
I just hope these pictures don’t come back to haunt her when she runs for president.
